Hello, fellow DIY-er!

So here you are...you're either my friend (and a really good one at that since you're reading this), family member (thanks, Mom!) OR you actually want to know how you can solve your hair, body and home probs ON YOUR OWN!

The purpose of this blog is to EMPOWER YOU TO DO IT YOURSELF. Why? Because you can

1. Save money (it's cheaper to by quality raw ingredients than it is to by the chemically processed preserved and packaged shtuff)

2. Not be a passive, gullible consumer 100% of the time
   (though I'm still one 98% of the time)

3. Know what is going into your shtuff

4. Live as chemical-free as you choose 

5. Find your ingredient sources IN NATURE!

I'm not selling anything on this site. I got a bunch of essential oils from Plant Therapy based on reviews and researching their company myself. I trust they produce 100% pure therapeutic grade essential oils, and that my $ goes straight to the company without a lot of overhead costs.

I don't plan to make $$ off this site, it's just shtuff I'm passionate about and interested in. I'm fighting the highly visible signs of aging, guys! It's honestly freaking me out. I'm tired of my husband being the only one who knows about my ridiculous DIY experiments because all he does is laugh at me (in the MOST loving way). I bust out laughing at myself in response just because he brings me back down to reality. One time he said that when he saw me vigorously massaging something into my hair, he thought to himself, "Oh my God, she is actually crazy."

I do see the humor in all this (that makes me not literally crazy, right?). This whole blog could read as a parody (my husband actually read one of my posts aloud to me just to prove that point)--like a delightful Christopher Guest production. Take a moment to indulge in a good laugh. Not too long.
