Bon Ami is your good friend (that's redundant)

Bon Ami means good friend in French and it is an awesome natural, safe alternative to a ton of unsafe bathroom/kitchen cleaners on the market like Comet, Ajax, Soft Scrub, Clorox, Scrubbing Bubbles, etc. I discovered this well-known natural cleaner secret about 14 years ago but it's been around for 125 years! Thanks Wongies for reminding me that it's a thing!

I use it for bathtubs, toilets, bathroom sinks and the kitchen sink. It's gentle enough not to be abrasive, which could damage the surface of your schtuff. It contains limestone and feldspar as the active ingredients. It does NOT contain bleach like the the bad actors do.

Why is bleach so bad for us? Bleach is straight up chlorine. It's a corrosive substance that causes damage to the eyes, nasal passages, and lungs when you inhale its fumes. And if you've ever caught a wiff of bleach, you know how strong those fumes are. All of the chlorine people clean with gets washed down the drain and ends up harming the environment. Yes, chlorine is so toxic that it kills bacteria and other life forms in stored water supplies. But we aren't supposed to be drinking it. That's why Brita and other water filters were invented. That's why your mom told you not to drink the pool water. It is toxic--both drinking it and inhaling it.

BTW chlorine isn't even the most dangerous of the chemicals in products like Comet. Actually the most toxic chemicals in there – formaldehyde, benzene, chloroform, toluene – aren't even listed on the label. Eegads! This is why I like making my own home cleaning products.

Best of all, your good friend (Bon Ami) is a little over a buck for a can that will last you months. This is not a sponsored ad. LOL -- just a little tip from one good pake friend to another.
