My legs were addicted to lotion--Lubriderm, Eucerin, Aveeno, you name it. The legs had to have it or they would start growing alligator scales.
But since I was putting avocado oil on my lips, I figured what the heck--if it works on my chapped lips, it probably could do a bit of good for my chapped legs. I was right. I kicked the lotion bottle to the curb and now it's only natural oils--avocado, almond or coconut. To make it more like Bath & Body Works I add several drops of a fragrant blend as well.

Plant Therapy has some wonderfully smellicious essential oil blends. I'm not selling anything on this blog, so this is NOT an ad. BUUUT, if you use my referral link, you'll get $10 to spend on the site and so will I..... :) :)
The Recipe: Skin Moisturizer that's better than lotion
Get a bottle of avocado, almond, or coconut oil.
Add 20 or so drops of any GOOD smelling essential oil. Just keep dropping until it's strong enough for ya.
Use all over your body--legs, arms, torso, shoulders, neck, etc. (Not for your face tho.) My dry skin soaks up the oil fast, but you might be leaving oil prints everywhere you go unless you either wait or put some clothes on.
